my approach.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, engaged and direct. I believe that therapy should be more than a place to just talk about our problems. Together, we can process difficult experiences, dismantle roadblocks in your life, confront pain and shame, acquire new tools to help you move through life, and engage in gentle challenging to help you grow.
In couples therapy, I support partners in moving from disconnection and frustration toward greater understanding and emotional closeness. I offer compassionate reflections and invite both partners to explore how their individual patterns may be shaping the relationship. Together, we make space for each person's emotions and unmet needs, especially in moments of rupture, hurt, or distance. I help couples repair trust, communicate more openly, and reconnect with what brought them together, or move forward in a new direction.
integrative and evidence-based.
I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from a blend of approaches. I draw on a combination of therapy approaches to help you create change in your life, including:
Emotionally-focused individual therapy (EFIT Certified Level 1)
Internal family systems (IFS)
Psychodynamic therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy
Solution-focused therapy
Gottman couples therapy (Certified Level 1)
Emotionally-focused couples therapy
a safe and inclusive space.
I operate from an anti-oppressive lens. I believe that healing occurs in community with each other, rather than in isolation. This is why I think therapy is so powerful— having a therapist on your journey should be safe, validating, empowering, exciting and (even) fun.
I am 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming. I welcome clients of any gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship type. I proudly stand and advocate for trans people. I am sex- and kink-positive.
All of this to say, anyone is welcome in my therapy space. I can’t wait to meet you.

about Regan.
As a therapist and founder of Free To Feel Club, I’m here to co-create a safe space for you to feel, heal, and process everything you need to.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Distinction (MACP) from Yorkville University and am Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #22440).
Born and raised in the prairies, I relocated to Vancouver in recent years to be closer to loved ones and run the seawall as much as possible. My family, friends, and community are the joys of my life.
I draw on my own lived experiences and my learnings in my own therapy journey when working with my clients. I understand what it’s like to hurt and heal.
Becoming a therapist is my life’s work and passion, however it took me many years to take the leap and go back to school. Prior to becoming a therapist, I had a 10+ year career in communications, politics, and social advocacy. My work in these spaces showed me the gaps in our mental health care system and fuelled my desire to make meaningful change in how we approach and work with those who are struggling.
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, big walks, running, reading, indie shows, and painting poorly. And, I’ll never say no to binge-watching the latest reality tv show or cheering on my beloved Calgary Flames.
